the whole good upshoot of the Landis positive is that andy rhis doesnt have to spend all that money on Phonak team anymore and so now he can mount the BMC USA Team...
jackson and moninger are in this team, with scmatz also i believe.. and also big timer alexandre moos will be here as well...
so all this talk of the Landis business being bad for cycling in the US is BS... as a direct result of this we will have a NEW MILLION DOLLAR BIKE TEAM!!!...
ROCK ON!...
these guys should all go thank floyd for their jobs...

USA Cycling are a bunch of dumbass. They don't care about dope control at all.
They should give Tyler Hamilton a call.
Every other country is trying to fix the problem and USA cycling is making a joke
of the problem.
put a damn helmet on ERIK!!!
i now ALWAYS wear a helmet.. i have a LAZER helmet.. its the best helmet i have ever put on my head... the retention system is like a baby hugging your head... its that good...
seriously though... i have always said that more guys getting paid to race bikes is good...
USA needs more events and organized teams... in an organized system...
maybe next year we can make a nother few moves towards that...
Thanks Floyd, for running I-shares out of sponsoring cycling. What was suppose to be a pro tour and continental pro team sponsored by I-shares and BMC Racing is now BMC racing, a continental team.
there is an enormous gap between big events and small events in the US...
we need to have teams and events to bridge that gap...
so i cant care that a pro tour team is out of the game...
and event to a certain extent i have to feel the same way about a team like BMC USA...
because between a local club to a team like that there is no path for riders to follow... for our small world in the US not much has changed... we still are getting more and better events and more and better team structures... but we are having fewer and fewer bottom up programs to lead new cyclists to those big races and teams...
i cant deny that there is a lost opportunity with i shares not becoming part of the sport.. but i cant get too worked up about it because i dont see that it fills in the gap in the middle- where we need it...
I am actually quite bored with the Floyd and Tyler saga.
Did I ever mention that I kicked Tyler's ass in the Philly Kreitler Challenge? But then again that is as relevant today as me pooping in my diapers a few years further back. :-)
