I have a citi credit card and you get points... But you dont get many points and the points count for prizes that are sort of stupid and you have to have so many points that you may as well just buy the dang thing... This card isnt that good so i never use it... Why am i telling you this?... i saw the commercial for this card making it sound so great... And i thought instead "no way... That whole point business sux!".... Get a airline mileage card and take your lady somewhere for free...

i got an airline miles card. been using it for three years pretty much exclusively and still can get a ticket to anywhere. maybe others don't suck as bad, but the american express plan sure does
the citibank american airlines cards are okay. i have one called a "clickCiti" that doesn't charge an annual fee, but you're only supposed to use it online. it doesn't have a magnetic stripe, but it has a standard number. so i use it to pay all my recurring monthly bills and stuff online. then i pay like 20 bucks a year to get miles on my citi debit card. together i rack up some majo miles. going to new york in two weeks on them with the wife, in fact.
