this story came up on NPR and its so funny to me.. its in the music for sure.. its a social barometer...
but i am a little dissapointed that they didnt mention NTM one of the greatest rap acts ever on any continent...

Recolte la Tempo - I loved that song and bought the CD when we were over there for the tour 2000.
If you haven't, you should read "Culture of Fear" by Barry Glassner. One of the chapters is "Black men : how to perpetuate prejudice without really trying"..
I know that after listening to "IAM" Slover and I just want to tear shit up. Maybe they should just stop making music in France.
