i hope

that usa cycling will have to finally organize a national tier when more than 15 teams apply for continental status... there can only be 15 teams by the rules and so some teams will be turned away... we may lose a few teams but also we may pick up a few as well... so maybe we will have to wait a year to see my dream... right now we have 14 teams...

continental teams should have the right to participate in all NRC races... and national teams should have the right to at least participate in all the NRC races in their region...

i am going to think this up and write it out...

Erik,
What if the NRC system was similar to the Pro Tour: REQUIRED attendance at all events by the continental teams. pared down NRC calendar. minimum prize list requirements. Is McGuire going to be around again next year?

mandatory participation?... i dont know how that would work... if the race organizers formed their own league with the teams they could do something like that...

i have always thought that cycling should follow a league format... international pro cycling has slowly been going that way since the demise of the fiacp...
