her name is sabine olivia and she is a nice baby... and she sleeps pretty good and she doesnt cry all the time... i am pretty tired and i was up for two days but i slept ok last night.. i only had to get up once.. i walked around for 40 minutes in the house with her so she would sleep... she just sleeps and eats and thats it for now... she just doesnt sleep for long periods and so neither can we... i cant imagine going on any bike rides.. not that i did that many of those anyway... the mom is ok... her feet dont hurt all the time anymore so she is happy about that...

Parke, I was actually showing Carla the picture of Sabine and she made the comment after I had sent the first post. The funny thing is she doesn't read the site so she doesn't know how much you guys rag on Erik's head. When Erik was telling us months ago that he and his wife were expecting the first thing she told Erik was "I feel sorry for your wife", referring to the fact that the baby would probably have a large head. Again, congratulations Erik and we missed you this weekend but I am sure you were content and had your hands full.

Congratulations... Sabine is very cute. Already more hair than I have ever hoped to havee....
Some babies do sleep on a regular and "easy" schedule, and some don't. Some parents adjust easily to the babies schedule, and some don't. Hopefully there is some comprimise there.
There will never be a dull moment in your life again. Embrase it..

awesome pic...here's a tip, turn on the vacume cleaner...that could put my daughter to sleep in under 4 minutes.
