raise the gas prices. make viable mass transit.. god forbid people ride bikes too, or walk, or drag ass on a vespa. and on top of mass transit we can also get ride of the private insurace industry so folks can have decent health care and so small business doesn't have to foot the bill. and on top of that maybe people would start having jos where they live instead of communiting across town. and then maybe urban planners wouls start making cities that are the right scale for the pedestrians.. i'd vote for ya.
i keep thinking.. fuck.. why not make new orleans the most modern humanisticly (not a word) scaled socially designed city. friggin staballize the wetlands and shit and then prefab house (the good designed stuff) and all that... but built around a non-corrupt court system and police force and a walkable city.
