You know... Poor jay got screwed by heidi... She comissioned him for an emmy dress and then the day before kills the deal... I hope he is compensated for his time... Because i can imagine that the whole thing gets to be a convoluted dog and pony show and its easy to end up convinced that its in your interest to do things that you end up jacked on...
For most people things dont work out and people screw you and take advantage while you are thinking the whole time that the pay off is coming and as long you keep getting screwed that just makes the pay off that much bigger... Yeah... Right...

jay got screwed in the Emmy dress fiasco. it was a probably setup for tv.. cause hes a stresscase and nothing is happening in the show except him stressing.

Sorry to break this to you but the project jay special, was all you are getting. they cancelled his show after just one episode... REALLY SUCKS !!!!

Christ, if you know anything about video editing you can totally spot all the places where some jerk-off sat on an Avid station and cut corners. They probably shot 12 hours of footoge, spent a week cutting it together using stock wipes on the base editor pacakge, rushed it through post, and got it out with the least amount of effort possible just to have it air and ride/anchor the interest in P.R. through to the end of our attention spans.
I bet they milked the marquis advertisers for the cost of the program plus 50% and called it a day.

Hey Parke. I'm trying not to have my feelings hurt. Yes, Project Jay was only ever supposed to be one episode; and yes, it would have been nice to have been longer...
But there is some f-in great editing in there (and no stock wipes, thank you).
