According to news site, his condition has stabilized after his first operation - whatever that means. But I am hopeful. Courage Saul.

France is not a 3rd world country and medical doc's are really well trained. Best of luck to Saul, your a taugh kid. Stay strong and God be with you.

Let's be careful/positive here,

The official word is that the Coma is drug induced. From my faint memories of bush-league biology schoolin' and guerny liftin' I seem to recall that's standard med procedure to ease pain and reduce additional trauma until the swelling/bruising subsides.

The brain's a goofy thing. Saul could be in for a long row or he could snap back in a month. I've seen friends in similar situations go either way.

I know Erik and Saul are tight. I hold my breath everytime I check for news on Saul, but the news got better it seems as the day went by! Everyone in Atlanta is hoping for the best and thinking about Saul and his family.
