Damn...used to have one those, but it was blond. Rick basses look purty, but make more tinny, farty fret noises than anything bass like.

MY brother has a whole stack of ricks... not a damn one will stay in tune.

yeah... my bass now is pretty good... it stays in tune... my guitar now is kinda screwed.. the intonation is really off... i need to get that fixed...

I had one back in the 80's - great for playing old Yes stuff, but I think the "tinny.. farty" comment is pretty much dead on. Nice to look at, though.

i bought my 4002 many years ago.....it's a natural finish with birdseye maple...the boys at RICtell me there were less than 200 made and about half were birdseye .....mine stays in tune forever...the action and intonation are deadly.........the sound is NOT tinny, and can be rather warm if yer usin a decent amp......
