I heard that Nick Frey is joining your team for 2008 - would you mind doing an interview for our website?

Easiest way is for me to send a bunch of questions for email response. I'll let you review the story before publishing.

We're going to do a companion interview with Nick after team camp and he gets back to Des Moines for a little post-Thanksgiving ride action.

Let me know -

Best

Today is November 23, the day after T-givin', 15 days past your promise to tell us about the weirdo rock racing guys. I wanna hear something. All i know is what I saw on velonews, at the tradeshows, the director/manager dude saying "my racers gotta get results or their gonna be on the street!" I remember thinking that sounded like a recipe for disaster, just add performance enhancers. lots of talk about horner, frankie boy at the helm, lots of hype. I wanna know what the godfather of nonsense has to say, mr. saunders, give me your wisdome...

from Velonews.com:

"Ball's management style is quite evident just by speaking to him. "I told these guys you have to win," he said. "I said to Rahsaan half way through the season, 'I'm not paying you for second or third place. You either win or you're fired.' Same for the rest of them."

That's JUST what this sport needs, results above all...

$250k is a lot of $$ to pay a semi famous rider too!
Same as if ever was- the pro masters get to race, the age quota guys stay home.
Development at it's best.
