Very cool.

Probably hard to have a chip on your shoulder in competitive sports with a name like June Cheeks.

Not like I'm one to talk.

I meant Joey Cheek, sorry. I was typing and managing a project calendar at the same time.

God I hope I didn't send something to the client that was equally as misplaced.

("Yeah, so I'll see you in the early half of Joey.")

I can't beleive the Bryan Park "tr'its" are still going on. I hope they've repaved since the 90's...

I hope they've made the pavement worse. It is cool to hear that series is still on, although I didn't go that often as I was busy doing 20 laps/day at Westcreek.

Oh yeah, and since my post turned straight back to bike racing... I guess I am a special and unique snow flake.

Ah Westcreek...

I have often wondered what that's like today but I never have the time to take a nostalgia lap whenever I'm back in RVA.

Oh, and if anyone is interested in contributing funds to oprganizations making a difference in Darfur I might shamelessly plug my wife's organization, MercyCorps. This isn't my post but I am happy to talk more about the kind of work they're doing there to shore up infrastructure and bring conflict resolution skills.
