That NPR thing on Johnny cash was great, then KPCC replayed the Terry Gross interview with both Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Good stuff!

I am thankful for the written word, x-ray goggles, iTunes, extra large condoms, Frosted Flakes, people who drop money in front of me and don't realize it, Adderall sometimes, coincidences and irony.

I am thankful for that clip of that dude attempting a backflip. If ever a bit down, watch that for a pick me up!

I'm thankful for friends, family and the like, as well as, still liking to ride even when it's freezing outside.

I'm thankful for my son and the fact that he wants an rc dinosaur for Christmas so I can play with it too. Also for not having pneumonia anymore and finally being able to ride again on the arctic tundra of cheeseheadland.

I'm not thankful for the Packers this year.

Happy Holidays

I'm thankful for the phone-call on thanksgiving morning from our realtor informing us that our offer on a new house was accepted.

I'm also glad that after all the times my body has be shattered that doctors have been able to put it back together well enough that I can still turn the cranks on my bike, even if it takes a couple years' recovery.

I'm not sure if I'm thankful or concerned that the bank thinks my life is worth the gobs of money it'll take to buy this damn thing...

True-Sherman needs to go. He's as intense and bright as a burned out lightbulb. I'm still thankful for Favre though. Even though he's such a crazy gunslinging fool--maybe even because of that. He's still a badass.
