yeah.. the winner was Miles Rockwell

the guy is 200lbs.. and he can turn fast.. and was really happy to win...

all those gravity dudes are cool as hell...

if there were a series i would prioritize them over road races and then just train for a 5 minute effort and race redbulls and crits...

the road rage is the best race i have done in a long time... everybody was treated well and the staff was great...

hey, mad max, what's with the baseball batter's arm guards? you can deal with a raw hip, but not a skabbie elbow?

Erik,
If you prefer gravity events, why don't you race downhill?

Happy Birthday old man......

Anyone want to fess up some more info/link on John Brady's team for 2006? Someone mentioned that cyclingnews had a piece on it, but I couldn't track it down. Thanks.

Apparently someone was trying to put one over on Brady as a joke or something. When Taylor called him to see what was up, Brady's all, "Dude, I logged in to my email and had a TON of messages and was clueless!" Then he added, "Someone's fuckin' with me" And he laughed and had cyclingnews take it out! Brady's cool though...he thought it was funny.

i rode armor and hip pads but not knees because you still had to pedal a lot... i figured if i fell then i would most likely fall on my hip and not hurt my knees so much anyway...

Man, I can't believe McCook. The guy busts his ass for 100 years and gets second twice this year. I don't ride a bicycle, but I really thing Dave deserves something special for his efforts this year. I tried to put together a team, but the money isn't there for '06. I could kick myself for not being at the event.

if they had a series of these and i could make ok money i would quit road racing and do them all...

Yeah, we've all heard you say this about track already. If I could get paid to do wheely and track stand contests, I'd be a full-time biker.

Happy Birthday Old Timer,
RB
