Shit man, you see that HO-JO kegger on www.thebikegame.com. that aint even at a race. Hamblen and Fetty are already a step ahead of you on the party front. NRC post race should be a hell of a good time this year!
"I got to party and socialize at an olymipc level". He called his Olympic experience "awesome" and cited Sestriere's bar scene. "You've got the rest of your life to experience the games the way everybody else does.' But I like the whole package. I always have"
Seems you enjoyed the nightlife. Thanks for rep'ing your country you self centered piece of shit.
"I just did it my way. I'm not a martyr, and I'm not a do-gooder. I just want to go out and rock. And man, I rocked here"
You didn't even finish 3 of your 5 events, you fucking sucked. Keep rockin!
I have to agree with anonymous on that one. Some things don't need to be taken seriously. Life is short, etc. etc., it's just sports, blah blah. But it's the Olympics. They're special and different because they are such an ancient tradition, they only happen every 4 years, everyone works so hard to get there. Hey, the X-Games, who gives a shit. Party your ass off and have fun on ESPN2. No big deal. The Olympic Games just seem like something that deserves a bit more respect. Like the chick who busted her ass in the Snowboard Cross thing. "I was just having fun, it's all good..." Probably. See if you have a chance at being Olympic champion again. If I was 100 meters from being Olympic champion in any sport, the ONLY thought in my mind would be, "DON'T FUCK UP."
I just think some traditions are being cast aside for the devil may care attitude of apathy that pervades this culture nowadays. It's ironic for me to say that since I am 21, in college, live on my own, and fuck off A LOT. But it's important to know when to screw around and when not to. It goes along with the whole 'nothing is sacred' type thing. Oh, it's just the Olympics... I really hope Bode Miller doesn't qualify for the Olympics again. But if he doesn't, at least he has those memories of Sestriere's nightlife. Or does he???

I will agree, the modern olympics are not what the ancient olympics are... but the tradition does still remain. Sort of the spirit of it.
