ok...

this is the most fun i have had in a while... i talked to hamblen's polish neihbors...we drank beer in hamblen's front yard leaning on his truck.. and then we watched fight club... and then we raced cruisers around the block twice.. and a deer ran out in front of me and i almost hit it during the race... and then we looked at his AC in the basement because it was really leaky...

so when i move here i think i am going to have a lot of fun everyday like this... and i met some other bike racers that i didnt know before...

Why didn't you want to move to Whitelaw, WI?

It will all be fun and games until you figure out that Winston Sucks for training...
Have fun doing your intervals, there isn't a flat road within 30mi...
Come on over to Greensboro...
I will show you all the hot routes...

Winston is fine for training. I spent 4 years there and got myself into pretty good condition. Ride out to Pilot Mtn. for a big hill. There is good stuff out Reynolda Road too. Maybe I'll move back and become your neighbor. Do you mind training with an eternal Cat 3, Masters rider?

Pedro, when you move back to winston you will find that Reynolda rd is now not great to ride out on. Do so and you might get elected "Most likely to get run the fuck over" by your cycling club.

Pilot Mtn is also about 40mi one way, right? have fun on the way home after those hill repeats.

Cost of living is dirt cheap, tho.
And Hamblen lives there... there's a glowing endorsement, I read in velonews that he squandered his talent. Is that what it's called when he rides me off his wheel at Dixie Classic Fairgrounds, squandering?

Move to Winston-Salem and you can heckle Curtis Shirley Staples almost on a daily basis. That would be worth moving here if nothing else at all. Well, that and Hamblen lives there, and he's pretty cool. Now you guys just have to get The Pate to move there and I'm certain there would be wild times.

i think it would be tougg to get the pate out...

i am really impressed with the riding here.. its been a few years since i have ridden here and i forgot how good it was...

flat roads are overrated...
