I am really done having anything more to say about track racing other than that there needs to be a scene with races and riders and a tiny bit of money...
I spent probably half the day talking about track racing with everyone i saw...
Somebody said something funny about B of A... "125 thousand?... You couldnt get a pro golfer to cross the street for that much... And you guys are killing eachother to get into that race"... And then another guy says "125 grand AND i have to pay my own hotel?!"

I think people should be licking the ground that BoA walks on, and Thad Fischer too... Balk at $125K if you want, but BoA is good for the sport and good for the riders. Millions world wide watched Mickelson win last night but at BoA there were 30K spectators tops and only local TV coverage. 125K is pretty damn good when you figure guys are breaking their collarbones, taking headers into curbs, and emptying their bank accounts every weekend to race local crits for $500 ten deep.... As for the free hotel, WTF? I can't believe that spoiled rotten pros would even have the stones to ask for free entry and hotel when the sponsor is giving away this type of cabbage. All those promoters who do so only do it b/c they are paying out peanuts and are jonesin' for actual pros to attend... If BoA is BS payout, then why did 200+ riders get their entry applications turned away?

calm down dude... its pretty funny if you ask me.. and it puts things in perspective as to where we stand in the sporting world... its good to not lose perspective... some riders tend to get this stuff a little twisted...
i dont think that anyone is really shitting on the biggest crit in the world...
nobody's hand is getting bitten man...
