i get my bill and its stupid high... so i call them up to get it rectified and they say that they cant do anything... and i go no way.. my plan is this and that.. and they go, no thats not a plan we offer.. and i go yeah... you sent me a mailer to get me to migrate to cingular from at&t for this kill plan... and they go no.. thats not a plan... and i go... why would i switch to you for a WAY WORSE plan?... i wish i had saved the mailer... i had 850 minutes with unlimited night and weekends and unlimited mobile to mobile for 39.99 with at&t.. and then i got this offer to do cingular for 1000 minutes, mobile to mobile, and 5000 night and weekend minutes... so they say my plan doesnt exist.. and never has... what can you do?... i got them to cut the bill down...
does anybody work for cingular?... or another provider?... e mail me

Eric...I feel your pain. Cingular said the same exact thing when I signed up for a text message plan. Just like you, I got my F@#$-uped bill and went off on them. Luckily, I saved my flyer, but of course I had to fax it to them several times because the parolees that they hire can't find the damn fax machine. They fixed it and now I'm gonna screw them when my contract is up. With Cingular, always check and keep your paperwork.
Never explain your pain to the first monkey you get on the phone. Always ask for the supervisor/manager and get their name. This always works for me when I go over with them the plan I've got in my hand while we compare it to whats on their screen. Good luck!
I was AT&T and then Cingular bought them out and Mike and I got hosed the same way. It sucks. Find that damn flyer. (It will help you tons!) I dropped them. I'd like to think that losing an over 10 year cellular customer (Cellular one, bought by At&T bought by Cingular) mattered to them, but I'm not that stupid. Get out of your contract if you can. I complained enough and got out of mine.
