I heard that same segment when it was broadcast.
Aaron Freeman, the guy that did that commentary, is sharp as a tack (though more of a performer than journalist). Check out his blog coverage of hurrricane Katrina for some really different perspectives on the survivors and "looting/finding" of Katrina.
